Nardos Abebe Yauney, the founder of About | Queen of Sheba, was born and raised in the small town of Nazreth, Ethiopia. She is a devoted artist, fashion, hair and skin care enthusiast, and, above all, a woman of faith who loves God deeply and believes in the power of prayer. She is also a proud wife and mother, balancing her family life with her passion for creativity and business.

From a young age, Nardos was drawn to entrepreneurship and dreamed of one day building her own business. Her first experiences in the working world were in Ethiopian restaurants, where she observed how businesses operated. However, her dream still felt distant.

As a young adult, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she had the opportunity to learn a new language and culture while gaining a fresh perspective on business. A few years later, she returned to Africa and finally saw her dream come to life—first by importing cosmetic products to Ethiopia, then by creating her own shea butter hair and skincare line in Uganda.

Alongside her business, Nardos reconnected with her artistic passion, creating paintings and mosaic art The Art of Nardos Yauney | Queen of Sheba that reflect her heritage, faith, and creativity.

From Poverty to Purpose: My Journey

I was Born and raised in Nazreth, Ethiopia, I grew up with big dreams but limited opportunities. Yet, through God’s grace, hard work, and an unshakable belief in His plan, I was able to rise above challenges and create a life filled with abundance—not just in wealth, but in faith, love, and purpose.

I have been blessed to travel the world, learning, growing, and experiencing the beauty of different cultures. My journey has taken me from struggles to success, from working in restaurants to becoming a business owner and creator of my own shea butter skincare line. Today, I use my experiences to inspire and empower women to believe that with faith and perseverance, anything is possible.

Through my work as a spiritual content creator, entrepreneur, and artist, I strive to uplift others—to remind them that God’s plans are always greater than our circumstances.

If my journey teaches one thing, it’s this: God can take you from nothing to everything when you trust in Him. Keep praying, keep believing, and never stop working toward the purpose He has placed in your heart.
